THE CABINS



  • Cabin 1: Zeus
Welcome, children of Zeus! As you probably know, your father is the king of the gods, all men, and Mount Olympus. He is the god of the sky and his main weapon is a lightning bolt. as the same of the rest of the big three, zeus's mother is rhea and his father is kronos. (cronos) Famous half-bloods from the Zeus Cabin include Thalia Grace. All though your father is the youngest of the big three, he won the draw with poseidon and hades to be the ruler of olympus. at camp half-blood, your cabin matches this description:
           "A big white marble box with heavy but fancy columns in front. It is the biggest but bulkiest of the thirteen cabins, and its polished bronze doors shimmer like a hologram. From different angles, lightning bolts seem to streak across the doors."
           If you are a child of Zeus, chances are you have your head held high in the sky. Literally. Since your dad is the ruler of all gods, you have something to brag about. Plus, his main criteria is the sky and the weather so if your having trouble with a camper...electrified. There aren't many games of activities that I can offer you, but I do know that you can be terrified of heights or be able to fly.




  • Cabin 2: Hera
Welcome to the Hera cabin! Hera is the goddess of family and women. The cow, lion, and peacock are considered her sacred animals. She is the wife of your step-dad, Zeus. She is known to be the goddess of family, yet it is also described that when she gave birth to Hephaestus, he was so ugly that she threw him off of Olympus. Hera is also known for her jealousy- especially of other lovers and children of Zeus. Here is a real-life description of your cabin: 
          "White, marble, and graceful, Hera's cabin sits at the head of the cabins to the right of Zeus's. It looks like a feminine version of Zeus's mausoleum box, with slim columns and garlanded with pomegranates and flowers. The walls are carved with images of peacocks."
              A child of Hera appreciates family, but only if it is absolutely perfect. A child of Hera also may have quite a mean streak in him or her, especially jealousy.



  • CABIN 3: POSEIDON
hello, children of poseidon! YOUR DAD IS THE LOYAL GOD OF THE SEA, EARTHQUAKES, STORMS, AND HORSES. athens could be the city of your father, but in a competition with athena, she won with the olive tree. he is one of the big three, but won the ocean portion of the world. as the same as zeus and hades, his mother is rhea and his father is kronos. (cronos) Here is the description of your cabin:
           'Poseidon's cabin is long and low and solid, not high and mighty like Zeus's. The outer walls are of rough gray stone studded with piece of seashell and coral, as if the slabs had been hewn straight from the bottom of the ocean floor. If you duck your head inside the usually open doorway, you can catch the salty scent of the interior, like the wind on the shore. Inside, the walls glow like abalone and there are six bunk beds with silk sheets turned down."
             A child of poseidon most likely has blue or green eyes and brown hair. they are smart, but can sometimes get ahead of themselves, causing them to make a mistake. overall, children of poseidon are adventurous. 



  • Cabin 4: demeter 
welcome, children of Demeter! your mother is the goddess of the harvest and agriculture. she is also the goddess of sanctity of marriage the sacred law, and the cycle of life and death. your step-sister is Persephone, who lives in the underworld with hades and is the goddess of vegetation. her parents were rhea and kronos. (cronos) here is the description of your cabin:
         "Number four is a cute little cottage, with rose bushes and wildflowers in front and a porch. Tomato vines grow up its walls, which are made of mud and painted a cheery light green, and its roof is made of real grass. Inside, the floor is a grassy carpet, and small trees line the walls, so that the bunks are really in the trees' branches. There is a small garden in the middle, where campers can grow anything they want. "  
           Children of Demeter are most likely smart with crops and can make anything grow in anytime or anyplace. they are nice, but get on there bad side and you'll have yellow grass on your lawn for the rest of your lifetime.


cabin 5: ares

greetings, children of ares! your dad is the god of war and the daughter of zeus and hera. he is the only one of the 12 olympians to be born of zeus and hera. he is known to be quite the opposite of his sister, athena and instead of thinking about battle strategies, he charges into battle. he believes that battle is over wisdom any day, and he is currently having an affair with aphrodite, even though she is still married to hephaestus. his sacred animal is the boar and a famous camper from this cabin is clarisse la rue. here is a description of your cabin:

        "Cabin Number Five is bright red - a real nasty paint job, as if the color was splashed on with buckets and fists. The roof is lined with barbed wire. A stuffed wild boar's head hangs over the doorway, and its eyes follow whoever sets foot near the cabin. Inside, you can usually see a bunch of mean-looking kids, both girls and boys, arm wrestling and arguing with each other while rock music blares."

         children of ares are most likely strong willed and Courageous in battle. they have a bit of a mean streak in them and will not give up or listen to anyone else.

cabin 6: athena

salutations, children of athena. your mother is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, just warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill and is one of the twelve olympians. obviously, she is very intelligent. she is known for being born out of zeus's head and giving birth to her children in that way also. she is also famous for giving medusa her snake hair when she was in her temple.. athena, like artemis, is a virgin. her children are born as she was, out of her head. her sacred animal is the owl and a famous camper from her cabin is annabeth chase. her mother is metis and her father is zeus. her patron city is athens, after she won the mortals over poseidon by creating the olive tree. here is the description of your cabin:

            "Cabin Number Six is a silvery building, nothing fancy, with plain white curtains and a carved stone owl over the doorway. The owl's onyx eyes follow whoever comes near. Inside is a workshop for brainiac kids. The bunks are pushed against one walls as if sleeping doesn't matter much. Most of the room is filled with workbenches and tables and sets of tools and weapons. The back of the room is a huge library crammed with old scrolls and leather-bound books and paperbacks. There is an architect's drafting table with a bunch of rulers and protractors, and some 3-D models of buildings. Huge old war maps are plastered to the ceiling and sets of armor hang under the windows, their bronze plates glinting in the sun."  

          children of athena are likely to be witty and very intelligent. they are very good in battle and can easily out smart the enemy or any other camper in any other cabin.

cabin 7: apollo

bonjour, children of apollo!
